Hi all,

Just completing my M52 swap using the zf gearbox and correct slave (brand new)

I've battled to try and get any clutch pedal feel whatsoever! I've tried pressure bleeding with an easibleed, using a mitivac style vacuum bleeder and the conventional two man bleed.

I get loads of fluid out of the Slave nipple when pressure bleeding but hardly anything when pressing the pedal with nipple open (just drops of fluid) there's zero resistance on the pedal - is it possible that the master cylinder has failed?

I'm at a total loss now, feel like burning the car![/list]

Clamp the clutch hose and see what pedal feel you have.

If there is still no pedal feel, it is possible the the master has failed.

Good idea!! Although I have a braided clutch line so can't clamp it  I'll have a think if I can knock something up to block the line to try and feel some resistance.

Clamped the line, no pedal feel still so I'm going with master cylinder failure!

Happened on my 318i turned out was the master cylinder discovered this after changing the slave cylinder but was worse for wear too lol but the carpet at the back of clutch pedal was damp with fluid bit of a give away lol
