318i Tapping when over 2k

Hello!

I've got a 318i M40B18 and when it's over 2k revs (Pretty much on the dot) I hear a tapping, and then when it goes under 2k it goes silent which makes me doubt tappets?

It's only recentlly had

New valves, Cam, Rockers, +0.5 oversized pistons and a load of other work to it, so i'm a bit confused

anyone got any clues?

What was replaced on the head?

Maybe a lazy/worn lifter

This is what i had done, Engine runs lovely besides the tapping

+0.5 oversized pistons
Valves
Cam
Rockers
Head skimmed
New guides
crank and rods balanced
ACL bearings
Rod Bolts
and a new belt kit

did you replace the oil spray bar?

I didn't no, not getting enough oil?

they are the weak point as they get blocked.
you can drill out the holes to make them bigger or just change for a new one
