It entirely depends on what you mean as "Best brake pad" for... what?

Track day?

General day to day?

Fast road?
BMW and Opel, both RWD, both german, both good fun

You can currently get ATE or Pagid for less than £22 from carparts4less both absolutely fine for standard road use.

If you have other stuff you might need shortly if you spend over £50 there is a £5 off discount code

Check the thickness of your discs before you order. I've come across an alarming percentage of E30s (and other BMW models) that have discs worn alarmingly below the minimum, and are full of cracks. As a rough rule of thumb, if the discs weren't changed the last time the pads were renewed, they will need changing this time.
Pagid also make discs, which are fine for a road car.

Pagid discs are only 21 each from CP4L, so with pads is about 120 odd , work out re best way to order/separate orders using the codes whst works for best discount , and get a nice discount

Only driven 2 miles with my new pagid discs and pads so can't comment much but they feel good, and of course a far greater improvement over the old ones that needed replacing
