Dear E30 experts,

Does anyone have any detailed information regarding the installation of the Bmw fire extinguisher in a convertible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

The correct one bolts to the under side of the front seat at the front. 2 or 3 m6 bolts.
Do you have the correct cradle ?

Get your head in the footwell and look under the seat. There's only one way it'll go on. It's not something that needs guidance really.
Don't forget your torch. If you are struggling then unbolt the seat and tip it back for better access.

You need a couple of speed clips to bolt the cradle to the front of the seat and 2 bolts (can't remember what size) to attach the curved "arms".
