I am looking at buying a hub adaptor to fit an aftermarket steering wheel. The hub i have found and want says it fits a wide range of models over the years. The particular year is 1986. It says it will fit a 325e, 325es and mine is a 320i. So I'm wandering if they have the same steering rack so it will fit. It also fits 1985 318i, 325e.. 1987 325e,325es, 325i and others.
If anyone could help it will be very appreciated.

Steering wheel has nothing to do with steering rack. You're thinking about steering column.
AFAIK, every E30 steering wheel fits every E30, meaning the splines on the column are the same, so any hub fit an E30 should be fine.
