Hey guys and girls I've bought a lightned e30 325i flywheel for my 328i conversion and I've heated it just blots on with shorter bolts and others say you have to machine the back of the flywheel if so how much has to come off ect? Thanks in advance

If the M20 flywheel has been lightened properly, I believe it should fit fine. It's the back face that can catch/rub on the engine and it's this face that gets machined to lighten the flywheel.
You don't use shorter flywheel bolts, you need standard M20 flywheel bolts and don't forget the spreader plate that goes between the bolts and flywheel.

Ah, thought you had a lightened M20 flywheel. Sorry, I don't know anything about the Turner Motorsport stuff so I don't know what bolts you'll need or if you'll need the spreader plate.

Its probably worth an email to Turner Motorsport...

Not sure if it fits with a m20 fly from tuners on a M52 . the spacer comes with it. my mate bought one and came with it should of just got the normal m52/m54 fly from them thats fitted for the single mass fly wheel.

Sorry to say mate you wasted a few quid

Just use the newer/stronger ZF box from the 328i, saves doing it twice when you get fed up of the rattly old E30 box
