hello fellow zoners its been a while since i posted on the site as my e30 has been stored away for the past five years,
just pulled it out and decided i want to do something with the brakes,
i have a set of porsche 997 brembo brake callipers sitting around gathering dust, is it possible to fit these onto my car? has anyone done this before and if so what brackets/mods are needed to get them to fit, is it too much hassle or worth doing? not bothered about braking performance as my car has been driven 800miles in the last 10 years i just purely want them for the looks and seen as though i have the porsche callipers sitting around doing nothing i though why not,
big brake conversion

http://www.movitbrakes.com/en/produkte/ These guys do (or at least did) a kit for the E30 using Porsche Brembo calipers, although I don't know if they would be the same calipers you have.
I'm sure the kit uses 322x32mm discs and once the caliper is mounted you need a minimum wheel of 17" (and even then, not all 17"s will clear the caliper).
If your caliper is the same, they might sell you the brackets needed to mount the calipers and the discs too, but I don't think it will be cheap!
