New brake pads
Moderator: martauto
On e-bay at the mo theres a set of OMP pads for a bmw M3 (e30 shape) that they say are suitable for the e28/e24 (Item number: 4602651841). The picture of the pads looks the same as the ones fitted to my 320i e30 (1989) but i want to be sure if they'll fit before bidding. i keep asking the seller and get no response. can anyone help? OR does anyone know where i can get good front pads for my 320 for reasonable money? ie less than Ԛ£40!

None at all, well not on a daily driver. I suppose that if you are to be doing a lot of hard breaking, there would be some amount of fade....
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

The standard ATE/Jurid OE part for the pads are pretty good for road use.
As for fitment: The E30 M3 pad is different to the standard E30 one...However it is the same as the standard E28/E24 pad (not the M5 or M635Csi, though)

Parts from BMW dealers can be supprisingly cheap. Sometimes cheaper than GSF/Eurocarparts/etc., and things regularly go on ebay for more than they cost at the dealers.kiesh wrote:thanks then mate, glad i didnt buy them then! wheres a good sit to order bmw parts from? i cant find find a gennuine bmw parts department!?
