Considering a set of poly bushes, anyone have these fitted? any recommendations please :) current bushes have more than had it!!

Yes; don't! OE bushes every time. Will outlast plastic rubbish, work as intended, and not introduce unwanted friction.

The only beneficial place to fit poly bushes on an E30 is the rear trailing arm bushes and the ARB bushes.

Unless your main objective is to produce tyre smoke of course :)
