I have had my cab for a number of years, and now im becoming a perfectionist, my rear window blower has never worked,
so i was looking of ebay and found a working good condition rear blow. Connected it all up and pressed the button and still not working.
I have just ordered a new relay from bmw main dealer
part number ,61361378238 which is on the relay itself plus on the realOEM. but its now been replaced with a different colour & part number, i have the orange relay and i think its been replaced by a green one. so bmw are sending me a new relay.
so what are my options on this problem.
1,BLOWER HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A WORKING ONE
2, BUY & FIT NEW RELAY
3, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP IF IT DOESNT WORK?
your expert advice would be much appreciated my fellow e30 Lovers

Rather than blindly swapping bits out, the first course of action should have been to unplug the existing motor and connect a test light, to confirm 12V is getting to the motor. Try this now.

No wonder some of you consider E30s to be money pits!!!
All that money wasted for the want of a bit of simple testing. It'll probably turn out to be the switch that stops it working when the hood is down needs a bit of adjustment!

found out the problem. There was no power getting to the blower. Found out the plug/switch under the horseshoe was unplugged (vehicle was converted to a manual roof before i had it so they may have disconnected it), so its been like this for the past 7yrs. plugged it and it started to work. but the old blower did have a problem. it wasnt blowing out warm air. so me buying another one done the job. no money wasted. and job done.
e30s do need money spent on them as they are old cars now. they need some love
