I am in the middle of cleaning the manifold in my M40, as ive stripped most stuff out, would it be worth taking the injectors out and sending them away to get new filters etc Is there any point wasting the money sending them away, its only a 318i and the fuel economy is awful anyways, in the future i plan to do a M42 conversion. Is there a way i could clean them diy style, soak in petrol etc ?, Sorry if i sound like a right rough neck, first time experience and I am just wanting to learn. Many thanks STeve

It'll cost you £46 to have your injectors rebuilt, and you'll get that back in increased BHP/MPG in a short time, depending on how bad they actually are at the moment.
