looking on ebay at cunifer and metric connections.

12 x 10mm x 1mm Male Ends, Long with Shoulder
12 x 10mm Female Ends
it says the roll of cunifer is 25 feet. will that be long enough for front to back and the brake pipes at the rear. also does it matter that it says theyre long with shoulder.

You need M10 short male ends for BMWs - the long ones don't tension the spring clips that hold the flexible hoses in place.
Buy all new flexible pipes and all new U shaped spring clips ( 34 34 1 163 565 from BMW) and don't waste time and effort undoing things - just cut through everything with bolt cutters.
1 roll of cunifer is plenty.

Realoem/bmwfans give the length of each brake line. I'm nearly sure I ended up getting 2x rolls.
Brian, do you know what height the short m10 male ends are? I got mine ages ago but recently decided to go for stainless ones, both are the same height at roughly 16mm overall

ok brian. the part number u gave above is for the spring clips. i'll sort the 6 flexi hose part number as i have the rear discs. saw a flaring tool you said would work when i did a search earlier so will aaquire one of those. also saw someone say about using 1/4" cunifer for fuel lines as well? would the flexi also be dealer. i'm in the process of renewing everything underneath amd have other posts regarding bushs and the abs pump if air gets in

Flexis can be from anywhere, such as a local motor factors, GSF or CP4L, or you could go for stainless braided lines (the type with stainless ends).
1/4" cunifer can be used for the fuel lines, as long as you make some kind of flare on the ends of the high pressure line to help secure the hoses, but the only 'fuel' line that rusts normally is the vent pipe, which appears be to a different construction that the two other lines.
