Are e30 m42 and e36 m42 engine mounts interchangeable?

Hi folks
Could not an answer the question of whether the e36 M42 engine mounts will fit my e30 m42 car.

Any thoughts?
I found the e36 m42 mounts locally and they also look very similar to e30 m42. Part numbers are different though...
