Which model car do you have?
See the Zone Wiki troubleshooting guide:

From your other thread, you say you ran it low on fuel, so maybe you've picked up sone gunge in the bottom of the tank which is blocking the fuel hoses...
I'd check those, and maybe replace that fuel filter if it hasn't been done in ages.

Remove the fuel hose from the fuel pressure regulator (little black canister on top of the injector rail at the front of the engine), crank the engine over and see if any fuel spurts out.
Replacing fuel filter is fairly easy - it's located aft of the nearside rear wheel, but be careful not to spurt fuel in your face as you undo it; depressurise the system first by removing the fuel pump relay or Fuse 11 and running the engine until it runs out of fuel.
Check all fuel hoses for splits while you're there.

What do you mean - no fuel being delivered?
In that case, check the CPS and its wiring carefully - they often get chafed through by the fanbelt pulleys.

Also try bridging the fuel pump relay contacts:
Identify and remove the Fuel Pump Relay.
With the relay removed, bridge pins 30 (red wire) and 87 (green/violet) to directly power the fuel pump. Turn on ignition, and check for fuel.

No need to turn on the ignition. Fuel pump should run as soon as the pins of the socket are bridged.Speedtouch wrote:bridge pins 30 (red wire) and 87 (green/violet) to directly power the fuel pump. Turn on ignition, and check for fuel.

I stand corrected, however, in my defence, that was a quote from the Zone Wiki!

Have you checked for a spark at the plugs? Whip one out, lay it on the rocker cover (still connected to HT lead) and crank the engine over, and observe for a decent spark.

Highly unlikely to be a broken crankshaft - you'd hear horrible noises coming from the bottom end!
Have you tried spraying some brake/carb cleaner down the throttle body while cranking the engine over?

Sounds like you have an electrical fault of some kind. Try cleaning out and adjusting the TPS, and swapping the DME and fuel pump relays. Also check all fuses are OK.
