Please help, Powersteering Conversion issues

Hi guys, I brought a e30 325i p/s rack for my non p/s 318i.

Ive managed to fit the rack in, by taking the sump off the engine. Now ive come across two problems.

One) the steering collum UJ that connects to the rack, is too small to allow the steering rack pin inside the joint.

Two) the steering collum "bar" is too long to even consider trying to connect the rack and the collum together.

Three) im also now looking for a pump to fit a m10 engine.

Please any help is grately appreciated.

2) Iirc the steering linkage is longer on the manual cars so you need that part from the car with power steering.
