325i Manual Conversion Wiring
Moderator: martauto
Hi, Ive carried out a manual conversion on my car and I cant get my head around the wiring on the neutral safety switch. Everything I have read has told me that I need to join the green/yellow wire to the two green/black wires and just tape the brown one back. My issue im having is I dont have a green and yellow wire and ive got two browns... Is this a common issue with the conversion??? What wires do I join?
ignore all that - there is a thick wire under the glovebox - yellow/black I think, this needs to be connected disconnected from one thing and connected to another - I can confirm later on which it is, but you don't need to worry about the instructions that you have as I had the same issue and it was just connecting this thick wire that did the trick.

For neatness I removed the redundant relay and loom, but I guess that it's not really nessesary!
