Indicators keep blowing fuse

My indicators blow the fuse as soon as you put a new one in and touch the indicator stalk. Hazards seem to work fine. Checked the stalk and rear light connections and couldn't see anything wrong. Could this be to do with the glovebox light as it says something about that in the wiki

I had this problem, and it was related to the glovebox light. I disconnected the glovebox light and everything was fine from then on. I never actually traced what the problem was, as I never got round to it. Lazy I know!
