Never seen a cluster without the ABS light position, AFAIK! Four pot clusters have black plastic in the six pot 'check light position, but the ABS position is always there.
Sure someone hasn't been there with a paintbrush or black tape? The strip with the legends can be slid out if you remove the front 'glass'.

It may just be black plastic, the holder is in the back but not visible from the front so maybe previous owner has blanked it although as the light actually works seems a bit strange. Wonder what the MOT man will make of it? May take a photo at the weekend.
