Ok guys another coilovers/suspension question.
What are you using?
As the cheap £200 coilovers are clearly no use and then the next step up seem to be the £600-£700 gaz coilovers...
Are there any middle of the road decent ones. Maybe in the £400 region?
Cheers

Ask yourself why you need coilovers. Are you tracking the car? If not, why would you ever need to adjust your suspension?
A decent set of shocks and springs will give a better ride for the road than any coilover.

Is the car only a drifter or do you use it on the road? If both you will always have a compromise.
You can't go wrong with Bilstein B8's and a decent spring. I can't really help when it comes to setting up for drifting though.

There are no midrange setups because of the way the strut tube is a fixed part of the entire front upright. So you get cheap ones which are little more than a spring perch and funny shaped spring to sit on a standard strut, of the expensive ones with a new threaded coilover body welded to an original upright.

road car also, just do a bit of drifting now and again, but the fronts were so soft the tyres were hitting the wings. i like the ride height, just want it stiff.
currently have Boge gas shocks and eibach springs all round (60-40)

Well, you either set your car up for normal road use with drifting in mind now and again, and use normal lowering springs and shocks, maybe with a slightly higher spring rate, or set it up for primarily for drifting with road use and make/buy coilovers, with a fairly high spring rate.
You can't satisfy both so there's no point trying.
