A quick and easy one: I am trying to workout where the lamp is mounted in the glove box but I can't work it out, only had a quick look this morning though.

On the bracket the hole where the switch is located does not contain a switch so I need a new one of those for a start, I tried touching the two wires together that would be connected to the missing switch to try and locate a light source in there but no luck, There was a little spark from the two wire ends so I know theres power going through it but I can't spot a bulb anywhere.

Ive now blown something... the electrics are all messed up. The radio doesnt switch on. But when I click it onto the on position the rev meter and the mpg meter stop working. The same thing happens when the interior lights are switched on. Also the right indicator is going at double speed. Whats going on???

Ok fuse 21 was blown. Replaced fuse and now the radio turns on and the rev meter is working correctly. The right indicator is still going like the clappers though. What would be causing that? Did fuse 21 because the bulb was missing from the circuit?

Ye I understand that. My knowledge of electrics is very basic... so work with me here, if there was a bulb in the circuit, would the fuse still have blown as l would like toinstall a lamp in my glove box without the fuse blowing every time I go to use it.

ok thanks that what I thought, I didn't even think when I went ahead and touched the wires. oh well lesson learned. That'd be helpful, I can't work out where the lamp would go and haven't got anything to comapare it to.
