Came across rot in both inner rear wheel arches on my E30 yesterday, car looks mint from the outside everywhere, can this be sorted or is it weigh in time? Am gutted, i had big plans for this car, any help would be much appreciated
Inner arches can be had from the dealers and be replaced. Don't give up man.

you should be able to use a flap disc on a grinder to get them back to bare metal
then hire in a mobile welder to weld them all up and flatten back the welds
then buy some hammerite primer and a tin of soothrite back sludge, apply 2 coats of eachc
followed by some spray shultz (loads of)
job's a good um
should see you for a few years and won't cost much all
post some pics and we'll me more than happy to offer advice
don't worry, its not a big or expensive job

Will strip it all out and have a better look, was trying to get all the front finished first but i will have a good look, thanx guys, it would break my heart to scrap it, ive had it 3 yrs and being doing bits on it and gathering all the bits i need for the conversion
It can be sorted, get some pictures up. Imo id have them replaced but its expensive. Have you had a look at them from in the boot behind the carpets?tom_tippin wrote:Really? Im going through the same on my car which had some horrid repair in the past, slowly grinding it down reveals only a small-ish hole.
