do all models have the same loom, i.e have they all got air con connections regardless if they had it or not?

No, the loom for the Aircon isnt fitted as standard to all cars, if thats your question.

If your after an air con wiring loom, I have one from a LHD E30, although its still attached to the loom and is only partly removed. I can fully remove it though as some point

i,m removing mine for someone and hoped i could just unplug.................

Ahhh, not a chance Its a pain in the ar5e! Thats why mine is still attached to the loom 12 month later

An important part of the aircon loom is fitted as standard to most E30s. The wiring from the round heater box plug to the fusebox is usually in place, as well as the fuses and relay sockets in the fusebox.
The aircon heater box plugs into your existing heater plug, and the only wiring that needs to be added is that to the electric fan, thermostat in the radiator, and to the compressor clutch and pressure switch.

the big white plug? that,s what i thought as that one seems tied in as the ones at the to the fan etc seem added. i thought it would be a mare to do but actually it,s ok
