Hi,

I realise this must have come up before, but was wondering if someone could tell me what parts are required to convert an electic power hood to manual. Is there much involved and does anyone have the bits available?

Thanks
Mark

If its not working do you know whats wrong with your leccy roof? (Assuming its electromechanical and not hydraulic)

My main motor mechanism has sheared at the pivot and the relay pack is suspect so I made a loom to work the cover motor and installed an electric window switch where the manual release would be on the left hand side rear quarter trim. Worked out cheaper than a manual conversion and it will be simpler to re-instate the electric roof should I want to.

Yes, its an electromechanical roof. Not too sure why its not working but I know its not been working for a while and previous owners have thrown money at it...The motors do still operate, think there are snags with the control unit. As its the horseshoe I want to keep down that would be a good option.

Thanks
