When leaving home (requires full left lock to get off the drive) my steering has started pulling to the left.
I've found that if I briefly give it full right lock, it will centre itself again.
Any ideas?

Power Steering. It does feel unusually heavy, just pulls to the left - a lot - until briefly given full right lock

The belt is not slipping, but the fluid is a bit brown.
First noticed it on Monday morning. At first I wondered whether it was due the car being jacked up at the weekend to replace the prop centre bearing, and the suspension just settling down again.
But now it's done the same thing for three days.

Thanks Lamby,

have checked that the springs are seated correctly. There is a small amount of play in the joint where the donut lives - a very small amount - and I don't believe that this is the cause of the problem.

What I would like to do next is set off from home with a full right lock, and see whether this results in a hard pull to the right as I go down the lane... and whether a turn to full left lock then rectifies this.

Will report back the results
