Don't laugh, but Sparco's instructions for fitting their rear brace have got me worried. They say "for race use, get a qualified mechanic to fit using correct bolts" or something like that. Now for the daft question - if I undo the strut nuts in the boot, my suspension's not going to fall off, is it? I suspect not but, with my record, I thought I'd better check.

IF the car is on the ground, then you are safe to take the nuts off and bolt the strut in winkeye

No problems with hijack but do u really need a rear strut brace in your mobile shed? Surely there's something else u can tie your dogleads to? :D

when u got a spec list like mine it need sommit mate and will soon have M50 lump with highlift cam and low comp pistons

Thanks. Happily, I think touringdaddy doesn't mind my humour; if I'm wrong he's probably building a coffin for me in the workshop he keeps in the back of his touring (final insult td, i promise)
