Hey everyone. Noticed today that my left HID isn't working. how do I tell if it's blown? I know they're an expensive replacement so any recommendations on where to go would be great too :D

First check the relevant fuse (13) by replacement. I recently drove one of my cars for over a month with one HID out, before I got around to looking at it, and found no power was reaching the ballast.
HID ballasts take a very high surge of current when first switched on, and this pushes the standard fuse close to soft blowing, which won't be very obvious by inspection.

Checked the fuse, seemed fine. I've pulled out the bulb and it looks like something has exploded inside it if that makes sense. I guess it's just a replacement bulb I need then :(
