Changing rear wheel bearing...

Hi guys.

Time to do a rear wheel bearing...
I've read the Wiki and there was a pic of the homemade tool using a threaded bar for refitting, but I can't find it now.

Any hits and tips??

Pay someone to do it for you, did mine 2 weeks back took two days to get the race out after destroying 1 metre of m16 thread bar! Ended up cutting it with the dremal and cracking the race open to get it off.

Thread bar works well getting the new bearing in, also make sure the hub is clean and ber free because if it gets stuck in the bearing youll damage it hitting it in and if you pull it out youll pull the outer race off with it and you will have to start again.

I left the bearing in the fridge for a few days.

Easiest way is to remove the whole supsension arm and take it a machine shop who can pull the old bearing off and press the new one in.

There are other ways using homemade tools or hammers, but they make a difficult job even harder.
