Are E30 M3 front brake pads similar shape to E30 rear pads?

I have some M3 race brake pads but not clear on what they are. Initially I thought they were rear pads, as they look like a bigger version of normal E30 rear pads, but I've googled images part numbers etc to check, and it looks like they may be front pads. So do M3 front pads look like a bigger version of normal E30 rear pads? Photo to follow shortly.

have you tried putting the part number from the pads of the box into google?

Tis hard to tell if they are front or rear from that pic as there is nothing to compare them with, size wise...
Both front and rear M3 pads look the same other than the size...rear ones are a fair bit smaller...
