Bought a 325i tourer cheap loads of goodies on it but headgasket gone, that was why it was cheap!!
How difficult is it to change head gasket?
Should I get it tested for cracks/warp?
I am a hands on technical kinda guy. Engine swaps ect..... however never done a headgasket on a modern car.Only on a Mini a couple of times but they are easy.
Any advice welcome.

Garaging it off the road for rest of winter.Needs a new steering rack + ball joint fitting,LSD and a few niggles sorting out but mainley to keep the Salt off the pride and joy until spring time.
So K is it hard to DIY a 6pot head gasket for my winter hack??
PS you got that M5 motor in yet??
