hi guys, this has been happening for a few months now but hasn't caused any issues as of yet, it's just annoying. when i change from 1st gear to 2nd, i get a fairly loud "clunk" and it sounds like it's coming from the back. could it be the diff?

Most likely a bush or mount in the back end. Center prop bearing or diff mount bush are a good place to check for wear although centre prop bearing is a pain in the arse to get to

Something is probably moving about which mean either its loose or worn. I'd check the diff as there is a good chance its the diff bush, you can also check the bolts as well whilst you are there. If its not those just work outward downthe drive train, check the prop, trailing arms etc. for play.
