, but I'm not being lazy.I have a 318i Touring, a '93, it has no front fog lights, so I picked up a set, plus relay etc. and went to fit them today. I sorted all the switch, wiring, relay, fuses no problem but I have a query about the easy bit - actually offering up the fog lights to the car. I have popped off the two coloured blanking plates in the front bumper, checked that I have sufficient length on the wire each side, and offered up the fog lights. They sit in a plastic frame with four holes, two at the top and two at the bottom. These holes correspond to four lugs on the car around the aperture for the fog light. Trouble is, if I put the fog light into place and push the four holes over the four lugs, it doesn't give me much of a connection - what I mean is, the whole assembly still feels loose in the hole, I don't think that the four lugs would hold the weight if I were driving. But I can't see any separate hole to enable me to use a nut and bolt or somethines. So my query is, am I missing something obvious? How do the fog light assemblies physically fix to the front of the car?
Apologies if this is a) a stupid question with an obvious answer or b) something that has been asked before and I just failed to find it.
