From reading other threads it seems this can be caused by a knackered camshaft. Are there any other symptoms that would point to this definitely being the case ?
Are there any other things that might cause the constricted revs? I've read that it could be a blocked fuel filter but as it runs mainly on LPG I can't see that being the issue.
Runs fine in every other regard except for a very slow loss of coolant.
M42 for the record.
Wont rev past 3000 rpm

Had an m40 which wouldnt rev past 4k and a whole lot of blue smoke. had some oil in the water which would mean the head gasket was gone. binned the engine but mabe thats the cause?
