Really not used the car (1988 325i) much since the 2010 Santa pod meet, 435 miles in fact! The car sat for 9 months not being used and has been back out for a couple of months now (Big thanks to BBB) and I have noticed the clutch pedal is high.
Doing a bit of research it looks like it is the hydraulic side of things rather than friction, Driving home tonight (yes I actually used it!) I used full throttle in 4th at 30mph up hill and the revs went up as you would expect with the appropriate rate of acceleration.
I'm tempted to just do the cylinders and maybe a braided hose then see what it acts like.
Any mileage in doing the clutch as a precaution, it's a reasonable chunk of cash to spend for peace of mind.
Also does anyone have a recommended supplier for the braided hose?
Thanks
