You can check the switch by swicthing it with the other swtch to see if it is the switch, try that first! I bet it aint the switch!

OE motors don't usually give much trouble, but the (sometimes dealer fitted) retrofit ones do.
Try silicon grease sprayed into the glass guides before you get to involved.

This seems to happen to the rears alot if left unused for a while.

lube em up and they should be ok.
