I am ready to reassemble the cylinder head on my m20b25 engine, but I can not find any engine assembly paste in any of the local parts and accessories stores, would I be able to use copper ease for reassembly, or would it do more damage than good?
Any help would be much appreciated
Chris

Engine builders should have the paste but not sure it's strictly necessary.
Good fresh oil would possibly do the trick, i stand to be corrected though.

I wouldn't use copper grease
You want something that will dissolve into the oil after the initial startup
I used this, nice and cheap too
