I have 2 e30's, one of which is on standard shocks/springs...the other on eibach springs but needing new shocks.
So I ordered b4's for the eibach car from ECP-and as many have already mentioned on this form, they came without collar nuts. ECP have been absoutely hopeless, and are completey unwilling and unanble to recify the situation, saying that they have no more b4's for the e30 325i in the company and bilstein are not responding to 'special order' requests. I give up!!! Therefore, I have a dilemma.
For the car on standard shocks/springs (a 325i coupe), I have now sourced a set of (main dealer supplied) mtech springs and GSF boge turbo shocks (which I believe are a good match for mtech springs 'a la' tech 2 sports).
With that car sorted, here is my dilemma.
My cab is currently on eibach springs with standard shocks, which are a bit tired. I desperately wanted to do things the best way, and therefore orderd the b4s from ECP. These now have to go back (unless anyone on the zone has a spare set of b4 collar nuts), and need to be replaced with something elso that's not too firm (not b6's or b8's).
My question is...will eibach's and boge turbos work well together? Comparing the b4's and the turbos, the boge's seem considerably shorter. Is this an issue?
Also, I have bought (from GSF) two pairs of standard bump stops. Do these need to be shortened in any way prior to being fitted to either mtech (15mm) or eibach (30mm) springs?
Lastly, I have also bought some genuine BMW shock concertina dust covers. Does anybody have a picture of how these and the bump stops are assembled on the shock shaft?
Any help greatly reveived
