RPM E30 sump guards?

anyoen who has an RPM E30 sumpguard fitted on a m20 e30............how much gap is there between the sump and the sump guard? my sump is currently 2.5" off the floor. im wanting to know how much clearance i will have between road/sumpguard with one fitted

I have a RPM sump guard on my car and it is not that low, maybe 40mm tops. The sump guard catches the road quite a bit on mine.

my point is the distance from sump guard to road will vary from car to car due to springs/wheels but the distance from sump to sump guard is near on the same for all m20's hence i need to know how far it sits from the sump not how far it sits from the road

Just buy one and mod it to fit... If you need more gap add a spacer... If you need less it might need some bending...
