Electric windows not working with ignition on?

Hi

My electric windows will work if a door is open but not if the ignition is on. Checked the fuse its fine. just replaced the whole door purple relay loom and its not that. It has a Bl/Wh wire and Re/Yl wire going to the accessory socket. Any ideas?

The red/yellow wire is power for when the doors are open, from fuse 28, and the white/black wire is power when the ignition is on from fuse 17.
Power to fuse 17 is from relay K5 in the fusebox.
Turn the ignition on, and check if this relay clicks when you pull it out or plug it in.
Link pins 30 and 87 of the relay's base together, and check if the windows now work at anytime.

A bad memory got me mixed up with fuse 17 and 16 (Elec seats) I think it was the door/delay relay loom causing the problem. After I replaced it I rechecked the fuses noticed 17 had blown replaced the fuse and it started working again . I checked this fuse when fault 1st occurred and It was fine? Not sure if it was the loom or not but I'm going to keep an eye on it. I have 2 other elec faults witch are eluding me at the moment and was wondering if you could cast your encyclopaedic Knowledge over. Drivers side interior light douse not work off door switch and electric mirror passenger side douse not work. I can not find wiring diagrams for these circuits so I do not know were to begin

Very unlikely that the little sub loom would be responsible for the fuse blowing, since there's only about 4" of wire that is relevant!
If you don't have an interior light delay unit, the light problem is very likely to be the door pin switch needing a clean up. It's just held in place by a single self tapping screw, and it's not really necessary to disconnect the two wires from it. If you do, don't let either of them disappear back through the hole in the pillar, or you'll have more dismantling to do. A quick scrape of the contact surfaces should sort it out. Check for a small sliver of black plastic that forms where the contacts meet.
Passenger door mirror is often a faulty control switch on the driver's door, or can be a corroded pin in either or both of the door hinge pillar plug and sockets. These pins are the second most likely to corrode, after the infamous ones connected to the red/black wires on the driver's side.
Does the passenger mirror click at all when the driver's mirror is moved in all directions?
