Hello all,
Sounds like my diff is on its way out so went to have a look at the tab on the diff and its totally rusted away so was wondering what LSdiff I would need to put in to replace the current.
Any ideas please? Thanks in anticipation. Cheers, Shaun

Theres a rev calculator you can use to give you a rev/ output speed reference for each gear
Not got the link but search google for 'john g burns' and 'gearing' or 'rev calculator'
You'll need your tire size & gearbox ratios to get figures but it's a useful for exact compaisons..

im not sure what diff i have, although i think my car can pull 60 flat out in 2nd not 53 !]
i really need to find out what my diff is exactly and confirm, all i can presume is that its a 4.10 standard but i dont know for sure
i had a 2ltr pinto on webbers that would hit 70 mph in second, bolted in a mk11 escort when i was your age ,good to see you chose old skool rwd rightness over the fields of crap out there
