E32/E34 Cruise control on E30???

I had a thought the other day and was wondering if the cruise control off a E32/E34 would fit an E30 maybe not all of it but does any of it fit as it would be alot easy to find them anyone know help would be good thanks.

Just had a quick look at the part numbers and the only part number the same between them is the clutch switch, all other part numbers are different.
Wether you could get the parts to actually fit though is a different matter, if you could find a car yourself with the parts fitted and compare some of the bits may fit?

The E34 stalk switch's fasten to the colum differantly.
I don't know if it will be any use to you but i've done some picys of the E34 actuator and switch.

That is so different if could be from another brand of car.

Yes, but only the wiring loom and the clutch switch are different, there's only a couple of wires that needs to be extended, and the RHD switch is readily available from the dealers along with the bracket that holds it.popupstands wrote:does e30 Cruise control from left hand drive fit Uk spec
There's a few guys on here that managed to get their LHD clutch switches to fit, but I couldn't so just bought new for a RHD from the dealer, wasn't very expensive...about Ԛ£12 I think.
