Looking for a new pair of front seats, do the e36 seats + subframes bolt straight in as i heard this somewhere once im sure?

If i get aftermarket bucket seats what is involved in fitting them and at what cost?

Thanks

These came in my cabby. when bought, I'm thinking about taking them out, & putting E30 seats back in.

I got seats out of a 2007 3 series BMW. Size wise they are perfect. You just need to make up some bracket. This is not too hard and requiers, just some 1/4 plate steel and a decent power drill.

Fancy a drive over to Brands Hatch? I'll be able to get something sorted or know a man that can.
May need some pic's of the under side of the seats first and maybe the odd measurement to make it a bolt on job. Will show my fabricator the seats first as he may just nod and stick a few bits of metal together. He has surprised me many a time like that.

Sorry if this comment comes across as attempting to get you to suck eggs but remember any system used has to be able to withstand the rigors of a crash and hold the seat in place. :thumb:
