My car is lifted and I need to help! I have two plugs going into the back of the diff, I need to know which one is positive and which one is negative.. I don't know if it has been changed already because by logic it should just be a double plug instead of two separate ones.. From the back which one if which ? I love you guys for helping me!

Are these plugs on wires to the diff speed sender?

It looks like the brown wire is the ground and the brown/red is the feed.

I'd be tempted to try them one way and if the speedo doesnt work swap them.

Best wait for an expert though.

Doesn't matter which way around they are.
The coloured plastic shell that you are missing for the plug is available separately from BMW.

I usually find replacement plugs on E34 or E36 scrappers

Fine. Don't PM me because it doesn't matter which one goes where.
