hi when car is sat there idling and i rest my foot on the clutch pedal it loses pressure and starts traveling to the floor was wondering what it could be??sort of hoping its not the clutch!! thanks shayne

Either a split clutch to slave pipe or a knackered clutch slave cylinder by the sound of it mate....
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

thanks for the reply,is changing the pipe, slave cylinder an awkward job to do??

No its not hard mate, the clutch slave is held onto the lefthand side of the gearbox by 2 13mm nuts.
Jack up the car and have a friend press the clutch pedal so you can inspect the slave and pipe for any leaks then report back 8)
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D
