i seem to have lost ALL forward gears...
basically i was driving home, not even thrashing the car! and i lost 3rd, most of 4th, still had 1,2+5 then they went too - before that there was no indacation that anything was broken, noisy, not feeling right, infact the car was running pretty welll!
i still have reverse, which is pretty handy.... for reversing... but thats all!
i only put the gearbox back in the car after changing the clutch bearing 2 weeks ago and the car has been running great ever since.
so where 3rd and 4th used to be there is nothing at all and where 1st, 2nd and 5th used to be the stick wont go into the gate...
whats wrong? is it the selector/linkage, have i disturbed something whilst putting the box back in the car?
