hello,

i am looking for any info on putting a weber carb on my 86 M10, like what carb replacement model number, where to buy, outcome like any changes in hp or engine torque, would i need any other mods on engine or outlet ?

if you have done any mod like this i would be keen for chats ..
also is it possible to put 318is shocks and springs on a pre facelift chromie 316 M10 4 door?
thanks,

irish..

a weber upgrade is not a cheap option , I had one done to my first E30 back in 1990 it cost £500 back then !
it also took a specialist quite some time to get it set-up right , there was no difference in performance/hp or torque just better MPG and smoother running..

I am about to convert an M10 carb to injection using parts from an M10 318i and make it a more usable car,

the shocks and springs will fit too, :D

thanks mate, i am looking at the manual choke version weber 32/36 DGV 5A Manual choke, but i am unsure if this uprated one will fit the inlet manifold, i read that the thread is different on these compared to the pierburg thingy thats on it?

know anything about a solex inlet manifold for m10 that will fit this carb?

thanks. 8O
