as you may have seen i am looking at putting a e36 pas rack on my e30 over the next couple of weeks, and was wondering if they are a direct fit or whether il have to break out the powertools.
any info or links much appriciated.

As far as I know the holes in the rack line up to the e30 but the rack is thinner than the e30 one so 14mm spacers are required (packing with washers would do the same job), then you would need custom pas pipes aswel. But the pipes could be obtained from someone off here, maybey danthe could help with these 8)
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

if you have an M20 engine be prepared for lots of filing and fiddling with the steering linkage to get the joints to miss the exhaust.
