Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get a new Backup Battery for my alarm? I took it apart today & the one in the siren has sort of expanded at the ends  I've read on another forum that it's a 7.2v rechargeable Battery.

your right it is 7.2v rechargeable, I tried to get one but could not, you need to make sure the battery has not split and corroded the circuit board, also these are soldered in place. good luck if you get one let me know thanks

What does it look like - I might be able to get you one - can you post a photo and dimensions (CM/MM).
All you need to fix anything is grim determination – that and belief.

There is a battery pack intended for emergency lighting ( the type that lights up in public buildings if the power fails) that fits perfectly.
Check out CPC, RS Components, etc.
