Hi the usual story of Bailies in the oil etc engine has done a hard 180k so not really worth changing head etc ....have seen recon engines from Drop The Retro for £600.
Anyone know the guy (maybe he is a member!) or have any other thoughts?
Thanks

Mine was running like a dream with are badly cracked head. On removing the old head every bore had it's honing marks clearly visible. Just run in nicely at 136,000 miles. If you can find a good complete engine that might be a different story.Try a wanted Ad :D

Now is that a fully assembled head, or just the case?
