Removed from car, easy.

Want to repaint the aluminium section, dreaded furry aluminium.

How do you get it apart?

hi mate underneath the wing mirror theres a little hole in line with the wing mirror glass get a small screwy and flick the white jagged edged then the glass will pop out mate

Took the glass out and saw the riveted construction.

Its a case of masking up the plastic, grit blasting the aluminium then etch primer it (and filling in the pits).
