Hi guys

Last night on the M62 at about 70mph i lost drive on my car. Managed to rolit of the motorway and got home on a trailer. The car seems to be stuck in neutral. Ther is pleanty of oil in the box and is nice and red. It idels fine. When i go from P, R, N and D i can hear the relay in the glove box clicking, when in 1,2,3 the relay dose not click. The car is a 323 auto 1985 with a 325 non switchable box from a car with 50k, i had problems before but it was low oil level and after toping it up it drove fine for a few months. I was thinking to check and adjust the cable no idea how to do it thou. Please help thank you.

See if it goes forward today. Can you hear a weird sound from it? Does it go in reverse?

Well clogged filter could cause this, but usually you can get it in drive after a while, also there should be a noise.
I would suspect the oil pump inside the gearbox, not that expensive and not hard to replace (need to take the box down), but you would need to ask an auto man to confirm this.
